The Gastroenterological Private Practice at Goetheplatz in Frankfurt am Main has been led by Dr. med. Bora Akoglu since 2026. The practice stands for well-founded gastroenterological diagnostics and personal, responsible care for its patients.

The main areas of expertise include endoscopy of the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract, ultrasound examinations of the abdominal organs and abdominal vessels, as well as intestinal ultrasound. The aim is a precise diagnostic evaluation, including complex clinical conditions of both organic and functional origin.

High standards of hygiene, continuous education and training of the entire team, and structured internal processes are an integral part of daily clinical practice.

The gastroenterological practice operates as an independent and autonomous medical practice and shares its premises with specialist practices in cardiology and rheumatology, enabling professional interdisciplinary exchange when required.

The practice was founded in 2012 by Dr. med. Harald Gutberlet and Dr. med. Tom Hoischen, whose many years of clinical work in hospitals in Frankfurt am Main, Bad Homburg, and Büdingen significantly shaped the development and orientation of the practice.
